Just wanted to give you all a quick update on what we hope 2017 holds in store for Conan’s race season.
As you may be aware of Conan has just had some surgery on his leg that he damaged in 2015.
He is currently rehabbing his leg as hard as he can to be ready for round 1 of the state series in Kalgoorlie on 14th of April.
Conan has decided to compete in the 85cc class one last year as he really wanted the chance to defend his 2016 state title.
That being said, with the help of Bunbury KTM we have equipped him with a brand new 2017 KTM 85 with a performance motor from VLP to help him get the job done.
He will also be competing in the 125cc class this year at all state, local and selected Northwest rounds also.
Some of you may be asking why the northwest rounds? The reason being we are trying to open up more advertising area/Regions for you all by competing in areas that we don’t usually race thus bringing greater attention and advertising to you businesses.
So the 2017 schedule will consist of the following.
4 x Northwest championship rounds.
6 x State championship rounds.
9 x Local Geraldton rounds.
Various public appearances at schools, Fetes and any other events you require Conan to attend.
The big news for 2017 is at the completion of the Western Australian state titles in late September, Conan will be flying back to the USA to base himself in Southern California.
We have just come to an agreement with Langston Motorsports, Rocket Exhaust and MX University to have him train and race for 3 months in the USA with an option to stay on longer if finances allow.
He will be competing on a KTM105 super mini and the later part of the trip a KTM250F.
