Some additives and ingredients used in modern lubricants, gearbox oils, greases & coolants etc. may have an adverse effect in some veteran and classic vehicles due to the technologies used at the time of manufacturing. Some metals used such as brass & copper that were commonly used for parts manufacturing at the time, are not compatible with some late technologies used in modern lubricants. Therefore, these vehicles require specialised lubricants. Penrite manufacture a complete range of products compatible with these older technologies that provide compatible products to what was originally specified by the manufacturer for the correct operation of that vehicle.
Packaging and Applications
Penrite Automotive Greases cover most applications and cater for workshops and transport companies through to the back yard mechanic. Sizes are 450 tubes that fit into grease guns, 500gm plastic tubs for with a screw on cap to protect the product right through to 180kg drums for largest of workshops or transport companies.
High Temperature Wheel Bearing Grease Lithium complex grease for the lubrication of wheel bearings, trailer applications, marine use and general chassis greasing.
Molygrease is a general purpose, lithium grease containing molybdenum disulphide for the lubrication of ball joints, king pins and universal joints, as well as open surfaces such as trailer couplings.
Extreme Pressure Grease is Lithium grease for general purpose industrial and automotive greasing applications.
Graphite Grease is a quality calcium-based grease brake cables, flexible drives, exposed chains and for general chassis lubrication of pre-1960 vehicles.
Steering Box, Gearbox & Self Greasing Units
Steering Box Lube is an extreme pressure, NLGI 00, lithium based grease, blended with effective anti-wear, rust and oxidation inhibitors. It is a high viscosity, self-levelling grease that features non-corrosive extreme pressure (EP) additives to provide enhanced film strength protection. It is suitable for veteran/vintage and some classic car steering boxes. It can also be used in some classic car and motorcycle gearboxes that require high viscosity lubrication or a self leveling grease.
Semi Fluid Grease is an extreme pressure (1500w), NLGI 00, lithium soap thickened grease, blended using extreme pressure additives, anti-wear, rust and oxidation inhibitors. Suitable for Vintage and Veteran vehicles.
Copper Eze is a bentone based anti-seize grease containing micro-size copper, zinc oxide and additional synthetic base oil that will resist temperatures of up to 1093°C. It has an incredible amount of uses over many industries. Visit the web page to find out some of its uses!
Synthetic Rubber & Plastics
Rubber Grease is a red, clay-based grease with castor base oil specifically designed for the lubrication of natural or synthetic rubber components that protects the rubber from the risk of perishing.
