SPECIAL TEST LIVERY FOR PENRITE HONDA RACING

SPECIAL TEST LIVERY FOR PENRITE HONDA RACING

Troy Herfoss and Penrite Honda Racing will roll out for the official Australian Superbike test sporting a special livery to pay tribute to the re-branding of major sponsor Elite Roads.

Team owner Deon Coote is the director of Elite Roads, a Victorian-based road construction company that has been involved with the factory Honda Superbike team since 2018, a very successful year for the team as they took the Championship win.

The team also welcomes two new sponsors for the 2023 season in Bassi Workwear and Pro Race accessories and merchandise.

Deon Coote, Penrite Honda Racing team owner and Director of Elite Roads:

“What better way to reveal the new branding of Elite Roads than on our team race bike? We (Elite Roads) celebrated our 10th year in business last year and we thought it was time for a new look to take us into the next 10 years and beyond. The timing of the rebranding went hand in hand with the bike test so it was a great opportunity for those worlds to come together for this. Troy will be easy to spot out on the track, especially with the chrome."

"We are looking forward to a big year of racing, we welcome Bassi Workwear and Pro Race as new sponsors this year, and thank Penrite, Honda, VMS and all of our long-term sponsors for their continued support - we’re hungrier than ever for the win so that’s what we are working towards this season.”

Troy Herfoss:

“We’re rolling out for the year with the same team we’ve grown to love, and we’ve got the new branding for Elite Roads on the bike for the test too which is great as Deon and Elite Roads have been a huge part of the team as a sponsor for many years. I can’t wait to get out on the track, the new logo looks really stylish and the bike will look unbelievable under lights. It’s good to be back at Sydney Motorsport Park for the first outing of the year 100% fit, it feels like I was at Tailem Bend only yesterday. The teams working hard as normal and we’re just picking up where we left off from last year, heading into the year extremely competitive, shooting for another Championship.”

Laresa Bassi  - Managing Director, Bassi Workwear:

“At BASSI workwear, branding is our business and with over 20 years’ of experience, we are excited to be working with the Penrite Honda racing team. We have a few exciting things in the works with the team and it will be great to get to some of the racing as well.”

Matt Bradbury – Director, Pro Race:

“We are pleased to partner with Penrite Honda for the season ahead, we worked with them last year on the tribute Fireblade bike livery and umbrellas and we are stoked to expand our partnership. This new livery for the test was a cool way to kick off the year, it’s not often you see chrome used on superbikes so we hope the fans enjoy it.”
