I have been buying Penrite for quite some time now for my older vehicle. I am using Penrite for my new vehicle now too and supply it to the service centre when my services are due. I usually buy the oil when it is on special price and therefore may store it untill the service is due.

How long can I keep the unopened cotainers of Penrite Enviro+ GF-5 5W-30 oil? Is there a use-by-date?

HI Herbie

Engine oil kept in a cool dark conditions will last a long time. We generally put a five year use by recommendation on our oils as a guide but this can depend on the storage conditions, opened/unopened etc.

If unopened we would recommend you use the oil within that 5 year period. If opened, try and use the oil at your next service or top up.
