I do not see your gear oil recommendation for racing application, does that mean that the gear oil you have is not suitable for racing like the speciality Tenth series of engine oil ?

Hi George,

Our Gear Oil's can be used in racing applications. What vehicle is this for?

Kind regards,

Hi

I have a few cars for weekend track day that I also used for daily driving. One of the new car I have recommend 75w85 for the differential and I wonder Penrite 75w85 gl5 is good enough to stand abuse during weekend or should I go thicker oil? What will be the oil change interval recommended?

Hi George,

For the rear differential in a 2019 Subaru Impreza 2L the information provided to us shows the manufacturer requesting the use of an API GL-5 75W-90. With this information if you would like to use a synthetic fluid consider the use of our Pro Gear 75W-90 https://www.penriteoil.com.au/products/pro-gear-75w-90-full-syn

Kind regards,

Tate
