I recently changed the gear and diff oil in my 2018 WRX STI with your Progear 75w-90.
But since I changed it I have started getting synchro issues on the 5>4 downshift during normal low RPM street driving.
Does Progear require a break in period?

For the transmission in a 2018 Subaru WRX STI the information provided to us shows the manufacturer requesting the use of an API GL-5 75W-90. The oil was changed as it was due to be changed according to the service manual.

If the oil is recommended why is this problem occurring? I shouldnt need to add Shift eze to an oil to make my gearbox shift right

The service was done by myself with help from an engineer.
