The rear wheel bevel box on Moto Guzzi V11 requires 80W-90 oil plus 5% molybdenum disulfide. I used Penrite ProGear synthetic 75W-90 plus Dupont Molykote M Gear Guard. Then I see that Dupont do not recommend this with Ester lubricants. Is this a problem? Should I use a mineral oil with moly, or ProGrar without Moly? Thanks, Martin Winter

Hi Martin

PRO GEAR 75W-90 (Full Syn.) is formulated with "synthetic base oils which include PAO and Ester, with an advanced additive system...", (from the website).

We are not in a position to comment with regard to it's use with  Dupont Molykote M Gear Guard. This query should be directed to Dupont or the Molykote's distributor.

Thanks to you interest in Penrite.

Cheers

Costa
