DPF Cleaning Kit

DPF Cleaning Gun is a special cleaning gun, purposely designed to be used with Penrite DPF Cleaning Fluids. It includes a hose with a conical nozzle, this nozzle should be connected to the soft hose of the front pressure sensor. This is typically the easiest access option which gives good results with minimal effort.

DPF Cleaning Fluid (Step 1) & DPF Flushing Fluid (Step 2) are designed to work in conjunction with each other to loosen, disperse, remove, and flush out soot to facilitate a full regeneration of the Diesel Particulate Filter.

How do I know if my vehicle has a DPF (Diesel Particulate Filter)?

Most current model and modern diesel fuelled vehicles are now fitted with a DPF (Diesel Particulate Filter) as part of their emission control system, but there are still some vehicles that may not have a DPF.

If you have a new vehicle and you are not sure, then we suggest ringing the manufacturer or dealer of the vehicle with the model type, engine type and even the VIN number.

The vehicle owners manual will also provide information in relation to the maintenance of a DPF

What is DPF Cleaner and how does it work?

Enviro+ DPF Cleaner is a Bi-metallic diesel fuel additive that when added to the fuel of a Diesel Particulate Filter equipped vehicle, will clean and maintain the DPF as well as provide other significant benefits.

• Enviro+ DPF Cleaner’s detergents clean deposit build up on the injectors ensuring an even spray pattern & optimised fuel flow.
• Enviro+ The combustion chamber surfaces are conditioned with active metals to promote a uniform burn throughout the combustion cycle. This allows a faster burn at lower temperatures and also improves engine efficiency.
• Enviro+ DPF Cleaner improves combustion efficiency of the fuel and reduces engine particulate matter by up to 20% with ULSD (Ultra Low Sulphur Diesel) and 30% with B20/ULSD (Bio / Ultra Low Sulphur Diesel), so there is less soot accumulation in the exhaust components ie Turbo Charger, EGR Systems & DPF.
• Each soot particle emitted from the engine enters the exhaust system coated with our patented bimetallic formulation including two active metals. The active metals work synergistically to oxidize the soot particles and to regenerate and maintain a catalyst coating on the Diesel Particulate Filter with regular use.
• Enviro+ DPF Cleaner initiates passive regeneration (soot oxidation) at lower temperatures and more complete regeneration replacing the need to remove and clean the DPF or replace it completely from high soot load.
• Enviro+ DPF Cleaner lowers soot oxidation temperature as shown in chart, allowing regeneration at lower temperatures preventing run-away regeneration which can otherwise damage the integrity of the substrate and shorten the life of the DPF.
