Hi folks, I use ten tenths racing coolant inhibitor in my tuned twin turbo car that makes about 500hp.  I've had the racing coolant inhibitor mixed with demineralised water in it for about 18 months.  Today I noticed that the coolant in the overflow and what is visible in the top of the radiator is now clear.   Is that normal?

Hi Ed

What was the mix ratio when you added the 10 Tenths Race Coolant?

Regards

Jamie

It was the entire bottle of the inhibitor concentrate added to a 20 litre drum of deminieralised water.  That drum is on my shelf with the remaining mixture and it's still red.

Hi Ed

Thanks for the information, given the weak concentration it is possible for the dye in the product to disappear. The preferred mix ratio is 1 litre to 10 litres of demineralsised water.

Regards

Jamie
